WATERWAY CLEANUP

Learn more

The County's Largest & Longest-running Environmental Event

This year’s Cleanup will be on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You do not need a boat to participate!

Organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, the Broward County Waterway Cleanup was first held in the late 1970s to help ensure that both the community and the marine industry could enjoy our local waterways. In 2025, more than 20 tons of trash and debris were removed from 38 waterway sites across Broward County, thanks to the help of more than 1,100 volunteers and 200 boats/personal watercrafts.
